- March 20, 2026 Hybrid (In-Person and Virtual) Sustainability Leadership Forum – Pac NW, Hosted by Pepsico – Sustainability in a Resource Constrained World: Rethinking the Business Case
We will challenge the outdated question—“How do we get consumers to pay more?”—and instead examine sustainability as an operating strategy embedded in the P&L and balance sheet, not a “dessert” add-on. Our kickoff speaker, Reuven Carlyle, Founder of Earth Finance and former Washington State Senator, will frame how policy, capital markets, and enterprise strategy intersect in today’s environment.
We will then examine PepsiCo as a case study—highlighting sustainable agriculture, energy efficiency, renewables, and circularity efforts evaluated through margin impact, asset productivity, and risk mitigation. The peer roundtable will focus on how partnerships and disciplined capital allocation can lower cost and reduce risk while integrating sustainability directly into enterprise financial performance.
